We’re delighted that with everything going on we were able to work more on the Native Plant Initiative at Galvez Garden! We planted several new flowering native species and our sign was delivered. We’ll need to install the new signage, but check out the progress and how these native plants add to the garden!

We planted both shade and full sun plants do add to diversity at the Galvez Garden. For an added visual effect we focused on plants with an indigo hue and pops of white and yellow. We selected plants of varying heights sprawling patterns to aid in creating visually appealing patterns throughout the garden and we can’t wait to watch them grow!

The next phase of the project is to install the bamboo shield and plant the bamboo privacy screen. This will undoubtedly be a significant transformation to the area we’re planting and we’ll be sure to keep you updated as the project evolves.
