Placeholder is just around the corner! With less than a month to go before the exhibition, we’re excited to share first media stories as they’re released!

Tulane Mellon Fellow and professional artist, Rachel Slater and Bodyart Dance Company are producing Placeholder, in partnership with the Center for Sustainability and Engagement Development at the CSED’s Outdoor Learning Center.

Located at 2640 Lamanche St. in the lower 9th, on January 14th four artists will be featured, examining conversations on place and space. Among them is Lissie Stewart, our Executive Director. Live music and food trucks will be sure to make the event – from 12-4 – an experience worth checking out.

We look forward to displaying art and supporting local artists in the beautiful green space created just across from Bayou Bienville. We hope to see you there!
