Our Budding Artists Arts & Literacy program for 2-5 year olds and their caregivers has been relocated to the Rosa Keller Library branch. All our programming will proceed as scheduled, offered on Mondays in March at 10:30, starting March 10th.
Historical Significance
Join us at the historic Arts and Crafts Villa, built in 1918 located on the corner of Broad and Napoleon Avenues. Formally the designated historic landmark under the name the Hardie-Fattel House, in 1997 it was renamed to honor Rosa F. Keller, the first woman to be appointed to the Library board and an important force in the 1954 desegregation of the New Orleans Public Library system.

The library stands as a model for Post-Katrina development and symbolizes the triumph that Broadmoor has achieved after the storm. Visually different from the residential buildings surrounding the structure, the Rosa F. Keller Library and Community Center highlight the architectural innovation that certain communities have embraced with rebuilding.
We could not be more thrilled with this move and are excited to be creating with your little ones in such a beautiful space! Sign up to enjoy read-aloud story times and sustainable art making, while examining topics inspired by nature. Participation is free, but space is limited and registration is required.
