The New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) has featured the Galvez Garden in its biannual newsletter. Highlighted as part of the Growing Green program, Executive Director, Lissie Stewart is featured as part of their land stewardship initiative. The Galvez Garden is in year two of a three year lease with NORA. The Growing Green program allows the general public to lease NORA property for uses such as community gardens, urban farming, and pocket parks. We are pleased to be a part of the program and humbled by the recognition from the agency.
